    Monk’s robes are notable for providing the maximum prayer bonus in the free-to-play game, leading to their frequent use by players that favour the use of prayers over defensive bonuses. They’re also very popular amongst player killers wanting to duel without the varying of armour bonuses, as the extra prayer bonus only prolongs their use of prayer; it does not have an effect on damage output or accuracy. They’re usually not worn with player killers due to their inferior bonuses and slightly more complex way of re-obtaining them.
