    iPhone Controls 41 Percent of Money Transactions from Smartphone Sales

    Then there is Oppo which controls 9 percent (about USD 8.6 billion) of total smartphone transactions and Vivo also controls 9 percent of total transactions. Other brands account for 17 percent of the total sales of smartphones.

    “Xiaomi had a strong quarterly result in terms of revenue, being the only brand in the top five to increase its total revenue. One of the drivers was the strong performance of the Redmi Note and the Mi 11 series,” said Chaudhary.

    Counterpoint Senior Analyst Harmeet Singh said, “Xiaomi surpasses 50 million smartphone shipments for the first time driven by the combination of premium devices and mid-range devices.”
