Evaluating and Managing Temporomandibular Injury Cases
Fundamental, Clinical, Medicolegal Issues and Beyond
A must-attend 16 hours seminar

Course Description: This “How to” two-day seminar is designed for practitioners who are eager to stand out from the crowd and develop, or enrich, their expertise in handling temporomandibular injury cases.

Practitioners are requested to give an opinion on injury causation, explain the mechanism of injury, calculate the permanent impairment rating and estimate the cost of future care of an injured individual for the purpose of compensation.

Hence, the practitioner must gain the knowledge to properly and effectively handle these requests.

Course Objectives:
The participants learn how to handle these cases from taking an adequate injury history, perform an injury detailed examination, explain causation and mechanism of injuries, select and validate diagnostic aids, plan an effective acceptable treatment, offer applicable treatment modalities, determine maximum medical improvement, formulate a strong expert’s opinion, document and present the injury case, estimate permanent impairment rating, write an effective and fair case report, respond to some of the unfair lawyers tactics, and handle some of unscrupulous litigious individuals.

Speaker: Dr. Reda A Abdel-Fattah, practices dentistry with emphasis on Orofacial Pain and TMJ disorders in Boca Raton, Florida. He has been selected as an expert witness by both plaintiff and defense attorneys in many injury cases.
